Tactical Ignition doubles as booster battery pack and more...
Magnum continues to lead the field with innovative products. We are proud to announce our new tactical battery ignition system neatly fitted into a 30 caliber ammo can. The heavy gauge metal case ensures reliability in the toughest field conditions. Notice the waterproof battery fuel gauge on the side and the red and black cam lok plug adapters on the front. It works underwater! The ignition system was built to be sturdy, powerful and dependable. It is an excellent accompaniment to our tactical backpack system and our land cutting torch systems. Optional jumper cables allow starting of trucks, jeeps and equipment. A float charger easily plugs into a side adapter for continuous battery maintenance. This dual purpose battery pack was designed for rugged field settings.
Ignition system fits into a heavy duty denier bag with room for ignition prongs, float charger, jumper cables and cutting tubes.
Picture of denier bag with all contents enclosed. Room for additional cutting rods and more. Measures 18" x 8" x 8" and is can handle a shoulder strap.
Rear velcro slit allows for easy removal and insertion of flame cutting tubes. The bag will easily hold more than 25 cutting tubes.
Our heavy duty battery switch comes with an illuminated light. The switch is wired with number 6 gauge copper strand wire to ensure ultimate performance and field reliability. There are no bread boards with small wires like other booster packs which cannot handle sustained high currents. Turn the switch to the on position to activate ignition prongs for flame tube ignition. The same cam loks also accommodate jumper cables to start your service truck, jeep or equipment. The 18 amp hour battery ensures dependability when it counts.
The heavy duty battery switch activates the front insulated cam loks which accomodate ignition prongs and jumper cables. Turning the switch to the "on" position illuminates the light to ensure the circuit is active. This additional safety feature prevents shorting ignition prongs during insertion. It also prevents shorting jumper cables when using the battery to jump start trucks or equipment.
Notice our new battery charger adapter with dust cover. The socket accommodates a 110 volt float charger that is included with the system. The same adapter powers cell phones, laptop computers and more. Use the adapter to charge your truck battery. Use the adapter to charge the unit from your cigarette lighter while on the road. Note the battery fuel gauge to the right. A red line indicates the level of charge. When the red line is at the top, the battery is fully charged.
Here is a view of the float charger inserted into the power adapter. Note the float charger had both red and green lights. The battery is fully charged when the green light illuminates on the charger. Leave the unit plugged into a 110 volt outlet when not in use to ensure maximum battery maintenance and longer battery life. Use the handy rubber plug to the left when the unit is not being charged to ensure the contacts remain protected from foreign materials.
Ignite hundreds of flame tubes with the igniter prongs inserted into the cam lok adapter sockets. Simply insert, twist and the prongs lock into position. Turn on the side battery switch and the ignition is fully operational. The design provides for rapid deployment in the most challenging field settings. The thick copper prongs are heavy duty and designed to last.
Ignitin is easily initiated by shorting the flame tube across the two igniter prongs. The 18 amp hour sealed acid battery is sufficiently powerful to easily light over 100 flame tubes between charges. Although designed for our tactical backpack, the ignition system is ideal for igniting flame tubes in repair, maintenance and scrap situations as a compliment to our land cutting systems.
Open the lid and notice the 12 volt, 18 amp hour universal battery. The battery is sealed lead acid for long life and low charging maintenance. Heavy duty cables bolt to the battery posts. The heavy duty battery switch is the same used on batteries much larger and with higher amperage. The entire unit is overbuilt for ultimate reliability.
Jumper cables can be used for starting your truck, welder or other equipment. Simply plug in the cam loks into the front adapters and start any car or truck. Comes with six feet of cable and heavy duty 400 amp alligator clamps. We used the ignition underwater for over an hour and it still had juice. We left it in the water for several hours and once we washed the electrolytic slime from it, it looked and functioned like new. Think of the possibilities.
